Westfalia Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of logistics solutions for manufacturers and distributors, expands manufacturing in the U.S. to include its line of high speed, storage and retrieval machines (S/RM). The move is in response to growing global demand for its equipment, allowing production in both the U.S. dollar and Euro zone. Current efforts to standardize designs that can be flexibly manufactured in both continents provide Westfalia with more resources and capacity to meet this demand. This expansion brings with it upgrades to Westfalia’s S/RM, which ensure safer operations and lower maintenance costs.

New Features include: independent service lift (moveable cab); additional dual safety processors; increased payload capability; lower temperature operations. These and other S/RM features are project specific and depend on a variety of factors based on the needs of each client. All S/RM’s are tested in Westfalia’s state-of-the-art test facility located in York, Pennsylvania.

Three most important features of your Product/Service

Independent lift or moveable cab. This new option to Westfalia’s standard S/RM allows operators to travel to various levels independent of the vertical lift station. Preventative maintenance can be more productive and be performed in a safer manner. This option is available on all Westfalia S/RM models going forward.

Additional dual safety processors. Built-in dual safety processors and a greater range of sensor communication from the S/RM to operator’s and maintenance staff update European and US safety requirements to the highest standards.

Low Temperature. Capable of operating at -37F, certain components have been upgraded to allow operations at this temperature.
